           Developer Needed Once again in US!!!
This is a full time, 50% on-site, 50% off-site, salaried Front-End Developer/Drupal Themer position located in Washington, D.C. or New York City paying $75,000 to $85,000 per year depending on experience + benefits. Some telecommuting is allowed, but some on-site work expected as well: 2 days on/3 days off or vice versa. US Citizens or Green Card holders only please. Local candidates only. My client is a full-service digital agency. They are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer/Drupal Themer to join its Washington, D.C. or New York City office. The developer will report directly to the V.P, Technical Services, and will be responsible for HTML, CSS, jQuery and PHP development of websites for our clients using open-source platforms like Drupal and WordPress. While some Drupal experience is preferred, they are primarily looking for a strong generalist who is proficient in customizing, theming and implementing Drupal applications small and large.

Responsibilities: 

* Write good, clean, semantic code 
* Cross-browser testing (IE 8+, Firefox, Chrome) 
* Collaborate with a small team of developers and designers to create usable websites for our clients 
* Participate as part of the Information Architecture team 
* Work with PHP, Drupal, WordPress and other platforms 
* Follow current and upcoming technical trends and share ideas and inspiration with the company 
* Develop creative solutions to meet our clients’ complex requirements 

Position Requirements: 

* Proficient in HTML, CSS and jQuery/JavaScript development 
* Proficient in the Adobe Suite (CS6), especially Photoshop 
* Experience with PHP 5 
* Good knowledge of Drupal 6 + 7 theme development 
* Experience with responsive/adaptive techniques for front-end development 
* A bachelors degree in any subject is an advantage but not required -- demonstrable experience is weighed equally with formal training 

Preferred Qualifications: 

* Web design experience 
* nix administration experience 
* Working knowledge of version control systems, especially git 
* Confident self-starter 
* Great communication skills 
* Initiative to solve problems on your own 
* Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly 
* Ability to work out of our D.C. or NYC office, at least 50% of the time 
* Immediate or near-term availability

Who are the Firefox Student Ambassadors?
They are individuals who are passionate on Mozilla's mission and they are those who promote the Firefox browser, Firefox OS and other Mozilla products and projects in their respective campuses or universities!
They are given opportunities to learn new skills, gain recognition and advance their leadership in the Mozilla Community!  They can also be accepted into the Mozilla Representatives (ReMo) Program!

           WELCOME TO GOOGLE I/O EGERTON UNIVERSITY NJORO, KENYA(GO 17)
                                                                                       Hi  all,
Google I/O is an annual developer-focused conference held by Google in
San Francisco, California. Google I/O features highly technical,
in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise
applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android,
Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and
more.

This year's Google I/O  kicks off  tomorrow,  with a keynote from
9AM,PDT(San Francisco time), also 5-9pm  East African Time for Egerton.

 Eucossa will be live-streaming  this year's  keynote from
Moscone center in San Francisco, the venue of the conference.

3.Waking up the forgotten Elug- Egerton Linux Users Group.This group should be able to match those of other Universities such as Jkuat,Kabarak, Invite or visit them to share more over Linux.

5.Improve code zone arenas, various competitions with awards during the semesters.
 6.Improved Eucossa Fridays and Gurus corner. How? A eucossa Friday where every Eucossa member will be putting on The Eucossa T-shirts. Gurus corner to made up of: -Basic computing skills learning session. - Pitch session. - Show casing of projects from various developers. -Codding and awards session. 7.Increased talks on technology by various visiting teams in the campus And many more.The list is endless.....
